A videogame that falls in the Rogue-Lite genre. Advance through diverse rooms, defeat enemies and gain abilities to emerge victorious.
This project has been developed by Neon Blaze Games as the Project of the 2nd course of the degree I am currently coursing. It was developed in Unity. The goal of the project was to create a game of an specific genre we were given by our teachers. During the development of the project we were being supervised by professionals of the industry.
My Contribution
Game design: Implemented an engaging and challenging game loop that consistently supports the core mechanic and genre. Designed an in-run and out-run loop with scalable difficulty, enhancing the overall gameplay experience.
Programmer: I was in charge of implementing the enemies pathfinding system, the shop out-run with a simple system of encryption with bit shiffting and the diferent menus of the game.
Documentation: Developed a comprehensive Game Design Document (GDD) that establishes the core pillars of the game, encompassing essential mechanics, enemy designs, and level layouts. By aligning these elements with the game's ultimate objective and desired gameplay experience, the GDD serves as a blueprint for creating an engaging and cohesive game.
Playtesting Analysis: I conducted playtests to gather feedback and analyze it in order to improve the quality of the project and enhance the overall gaming experience.
